HAHAHA! How cute! (And an interesting article I read some time ago that this all reminds me of. This is certainly an example of Kawaii.)
Favorite Johnny Depp quote EVER! *child unvailed* "Oh."
And then there's Orlando's quote: *child unveiled* "Ha!"
If a blog post was made, but no one was there to see it, would it make a sound?
Yeah, I know. Makes no sense. But that's why I write novels, not jokes.
It's been a while since I've posted to the internet. My BP usually has some trouble at the October and March times of year. Probably because of the changing of the seasons and all that. It just makes me feel out of sorts, tired. Hopefully, I'll be able to have a good balance of Real Life and Internet Communications worked out soon. For example, I haven't really been able to stop by my Vox Writing Group, Writers Hub. I'm glad to see that people are still getting some use out of it and I hope to be able to drop by there sometime soon and read from some of the other writers posting to there. I'll probably post this there too just in case anyone is wondering if I dropped out of my own writer's group. The Answer being: No. In the word's of our great Governator, "I'll be back." Eventually. BP isn't all huge posting sprees with mania. There's the depressive, too tired to post episodes too. It's what makes me so damn interesting I suppose.
Another thing, this whole changing daylight saving's time early thing has kinda given me a kick in the bum too. Changing the time always hits me hard but it seems like my body was hit before it was braced for it on top of it all. There's been that wonderful mix of things going on. Where you are both too busy, but aren't. Stuffs happened. Nothing bad really, not in a lasting fashion.
Some stupid kids egged my dad's car on Sunday. Dumb bunnies. It's ok. We got their license plate numbers. They really were dumb bunnies. They drove back to look, thus, they passed me while I was walking out to the car to take it to the carwash. So, I saw them up close, not four feet in front of me. Then drove BACK AGAIN. LMAO. It was kind of funny when they quickly put up their arms to block their faces. Mostly because there were these young adult men, who were doing this to feel manly and in control, and they're hiding from ME. In my JAMMIES! Not to say that I can't be dangerous (grr.) but usually, I'd dress for the occassion. There really are too little excuses to dress up in black leather thigh-high boots nowadays. Got to take every occassion when we can. Dealing with egg-throwing, dumb bunnies is not one of them. Even though eggwhites lend great shine.
I've taken to listening to Disney musicals in the language of the culture the story was placed in. Such as, at the moment, Mulan's Honor to Us All in Mandarin. I also like listening to pieces of the Prince of Egypt (not Disney, I know) in Hebrew. I'll share some.
Christy and I have decided we want to move to the Yukon in the near future. Next month, I'll be flying out to Indiana and then we're flying out to DC area for a couple weeks before returning to California. That should be great fun. Somewhere on the way, I think we're trying to figure out how to go see Erin. The Yukon will be a little bit further off in the future. Between a year and two. Mattering on some other things. I think it'll be fun and an adventure. Christy in the Yukon will most likely be comparable to a fish in the water. I mean, she gets woods, hiking boots, and a wood cabin. Could anything be better? Well, if you ask me, it'd probably be a beach and sandles. Still, the Yukon looks pretty exciting even though the whole province barely holds more people in it than the people going to my city's college. I'm guessing that's going to be a little hard to get used to.
My novel is past the 130 page mark. It's doing really well and coming along just like I envisioned. Hopefully, I'll be done with it soon. I'm think perhaps . . .three months until I'm at the point where I have the first draft of the entire thing written out? It's a safe guess. I'm also estimating the length to be between 220-240 pages. Without any chapter breaks. I've found it's easier for me to write the entire thing and then go back in and break it apart into it's chapters.
I'm reading the last story of the ST fanfic author, Macedon (AKA Little Otter), that I haven't read before. Unfortunately, he stopped writing in the fandom a long time ago (we're talking almost a decade ago). He's one of my favorite fanfic authors of all time. I also like the writer he writes along with, Peg Robinson. They work together and their styles meld very well. Though I've yet to find any of Peg's writiing away from Macedon. (Psst, my favorite of his work is the Jeu-Parti series. Here's Part 1. Part 2. Part 3. Excellent. I re-read it often. Can be read without good fandom knowledge. I hate ST:DS9 most the time but LOVE this.)
Angie, I started on a letter for you but haven't gotten around to really finishing it or sending it off to you. Sorry about that. Hopefully I'll be able to send one off within a couple days. I guess that gives a general update and shows I'm alive. Hope everyone's doing well and that I'll have some more interesting posts soon.
