Enchanted
As a belated birthday present we took my sister to see Enchanted yesterday.
I went in expecting it to be funny. But I didn't expect to enjoy myself so very much. I thought the movie was fantastic. It did a great job respecting the original intent of the musical/fairy tales it parodied, even while correcting where they often fell short. At some points, I was shocked that they would say/do a couple things in a Disney movie, but it was shocked in a good way. It was an excellent movie for older kids and adults alike. I would definitely own it on DVD and I would love listening to its soundtrack while cleaning.
